Simian Chronology
1,000 bSD—the Simianoids begin to reconstruct the Simian Socialization, and stories of the past horrors become mythologized and worship of Simiala Simitima begins.
657 bSD—Simialogica becomes the official religion of the Chronosplane, and Xerximia Dolorosos becomes the first High Primate of the Temple in Simiana.
645 bSD—Simdrei Simiril invents the Simianoid alphabet, which is later named Simirilic in honor of its creator.
322 bSD—the first SimiSchism occurs: the SimiSchism begins as the High Primate Aristosimis Macolunaricolorosoposotos lays a Bull of excommunication on the forehead of the Primate Locolis Dunsimios Patronocolos, inciting a war between Simiana and Medsimia.
300 bSD—a young soldier known as Simius Dei advances in rank to Genesimios of the Army of Simiana.
299 bSD—Simius Dei captures Medsimia and has Primate Locolis Dunsimios Patronocolos taken to Simiana as a prisoner.
298 bSD—as the trial for heresy against Primate Locolis Dunsimios Patronocolos begins, a riot breaks out in the Plaza d’Orsini Matatori, causing a panic throughout Simiana as the new Genesimios Simius Dei tries to gain control of the situation. A civil war ensues within Simiana as the “heretics” take the lower east side of the city.
290 bSD—the civil war ends with the heretics being routed at the Gates of Simianus and being forced to drink the holy waters of catechism.
188 bSD—Simius Dei retires from the Army of Simiana to the Temple of Osimias near the metropolis of Monopolis.
50 bSD—Darius Protheus becomes the Arch-Bonobo of the Circle of Elder Simians in Simiana. Under his leadership, all of the Chronosplane enjoy many years of peace and monotony.
19 bSD—rumours of a great Simianoid preaching a new way of life begins around the environs of Monopolis. Darius Protheus, suspicious that this may be another attempt by the heretics to gain support for their cause, sends a spy to Monopolis to gather information.
10 bSD—the momentum gathers for this new movement and the leader is finally revealed: it is Simius Dei. Word of this reaches Darius Protheus, who dispatches a squadron of the Palace Guards to arrest him. Simius Dei comes peacefully to Simiana. No charges are filed as Simius Dei gives the Circle of Elder Simians no reason to charge him with anything.
5 bSD—Simius Dei is visited by Simiala Simitima in a vision foretelling of the future of the Chronosplane if the current state of peace and monotony continues. Simius Dei begins his teaching of plurality and the de-canonization of the High Primate of Simiana, and to encourage a diosimian council of Elder Simians which would be an egalitarian structure of Simialogica, instead of the highly hierarchical method used by the Temple of Simiana. This makes Darius Protheus very angry as he supports the Thesis of Infallibility of the High Primate, as does the High Primate himself. An order of Cease and Desist your Skylarking Ways was placed upon Simius Dei and any who followed him. Dahellish Duharma, one of Simius Dei’s most ardent and faithful follower kills a guard while defending his master. Simius Dei and his followers are forced to flee Simiana.
3 bSD—Darius Protheus begins the Scourge of the Chronosplane to find and weed out all those who follow the teachings of Simius Dei.
2 bSD—Simiana itself falls under Simius Dei’s teachings. Darius Protheus is voted out of office, and the High Primate is indicted for Sins Against His Congregation. Simius Dei, who had been hiding out in Medsimia, enters triumphant on the back of a timber wolf as the Simianoids of Simiana place bananas under him.
1 bSD—Simius Dei revamps the Council of Elder Simians and makes it more egalitarian and appoints Simia Fatala as the Primate Overseer. He also proposes that Dahellish Duharma become the new Arch-Bonobo, replacing him, and becoming the Chronosplane’s new leader. That proposal is met with no objection. Simiala Sapiana becomes the Oracle of Simiana due to her closeness to Simius Dei. She first rejects the position, stating that the only things she wants in life is to be a good Simianoid, but the Simianoids would have it no other way. Thus, she becomes the first Oracle of Simiana.
0 bSD—Simius Dei, Dahellish Duharma, Just Dice, and Gene Simians (a Simianoid with an influencial family in Simiana) disappear to the wilds of the Chronosplane one night. The three returning Simianoids recount the ascension of Simius Dei as Simiala Simitima took him away in a ball of fire.
1 aSD—the Ten Precepts of Dahellish Duharma are written down and posted throughout all of the Chronosplane. He is loved more and more by the people of the Chronosplane.
5 aSD—Darius Protheus returns with Carius Precarius and stages an attack on Simiana by summoning an ancient being called Smogus Tolkiensis. Mona Simiherezada brings her Monodrome machine to save the Council of Elder Simians by laying a field of protection around the edifice. Then she has Smogus Tolkiensis vanished by firing a bolt of Simianoid Plasma, which causes the being to fall asleep and slip out of the Chronosplane. Darius Protheus and Carius Precarius are both vanish to the Mattervoid.
100 aSD—Dahellish Duharma passes beyond the Chronosplane leaving behind a legacy of progress and benevolence. His passing is mourned by all Simianoids and his Ten Precepts are turned into law.
250 aSD—Darius Protheus, with Carius Precarius, returns from the Mattervoid undetected by the Palace Guards. He establishes an outpost on a remote location in the Chronosplane and begins experimenting with matter control, something that had been banned in the Chronosplane due to matter’s volatility when in contact with Chronos.
312 aSD—Darius Protheus succeeds in breaching the fabric of the Chronosplane and pulls a string that dislocates a being from another dimension and transfers her to the Chronosplane. Fortunately, she is met with Just Dice, who immediately realizes what is going on, though he doesn’t know who is responsible for this breach in time.
325 aSD—Council of Medsimia is held to discuss the issue of the Tripartsimia, in which it was decided that it was wrong to cross oneself with three fingers instead of two because it was decided that the Holy Siminoidy was not a separate essence from Simiala Simitima, thus, there were only a Duopartsimia (Simiala Simitima and Simius Dei).
